The Epilepsy Association offers FREE presentations regarding recognition, first aid, treatment, and prevention of seizures to all age groups. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible to increase both awareness and understanding of seizures and epilepsy. For more information, or to schedule a presentation, please contact Mandy Bianchi at (850) 222-1777 or mandy@eabb.org.

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Epilepsy Resource Center

tmhInspired by the bonds of friendship, the Tallahassee Memorial Epilepsy Resource Center was developed by Rachel Rumana after her best friend, Molly McCann, who had a seizure in front of her.

As Rachel watched Molly deal with her epilepsy diagnosis, she made it her mission to help others by creating a non profit, called Strides for Seizures, aimed at helping those with this condition. rumana-web-ready-3816

Working together, Strides for Seizures, the Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend and Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare created the region’s first Epilepsy Resource Center. With a shared vision to help members of the community overcome the challenges created by epilepsy, the Tallahassee Memorial Epilepsy Resource Center at the Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend provides epilepsy patients, and their families and caregivers, with a wealth of knowledge in a comfortable, welcoming space.
